We are met with a nice opening from Caroline who once again lifts all our hope that we can all go home only to shatter them. A trip to Toronto you say, well that is nice. Oh and a stop to Q-i-k...oh and where is the 'u' after the 'q'? Because the law says there is always a 'u' after the 'q'.
Poor Martin, the lack of compassion towards his only paid job is sad - he needs the money y'know. So, the Polar Bears want to go where - oh wait, mistake, Canadians want to fly over Polar Bears. Much to the shock of Arthur that they are going to BE WITH THE POLAR BEARS, YEE!
We just need to watch the Polar Bears - and the angle of bank but who cares about that.
Polar Bears are brilliant.
So, Flying North by North West at the Vertigo inducing height of 20,00ft way above the birds is the way to fly but the steward disappears - yes you got it, Alfred Hitchcock. Remember the 39 steps to survival and escape through the rear window.
Is Arthur Knapp-Shappey the one who knew too much, a dubious concern to say the least.
Excuse me...
And now what is this, Douglas or Nancy Dean-Leapheart should I say, is getting a telling off for being unprofessional wow but Martin is professional...
So, essentially, the flight will be held in the utmost professionality (is that even a word???) that he brings to his...profession :)
And here Caroline Shappey-Knappey enters, criticised for prioritising Arthur finding a book about Polar Bears over greeting the passengers. Douglas, in an attempt for redemption finds himself with a twenty minute speech about Polar Bears that Nancy Dean-Leapheart decides is unnecessary rather than some zayny British Humour - which has never caused anyone any harm - but apparently Nancy has already had enough..
Who else but Douglas to describe Nancy as a ray of sunshine. And tonight's bombshell, Martin calls Douglas 'unprofessional'. Now whilst Martin believes the two of them have become friends, and believes he has a duty of care towards Douglas. Without rubbing Douglas up the wrong way yet, he warns Martin to choose his next words very carefully. WOW, Douglas tells Martin the only way they will fly among the Polar Bears at low altitudes is if he is flying the plane and not Martin.
Martin claims to not be the perfect professional but analyses risk however the difference is that Douglas is paid to be professional where Martin isn't paid. Tensions are high.
Watch out next Sunday for the next part of Qikiqtarjuaq!
